Practical information

Below is a selection of hotels, all located on Queen Elizabeth Street (neighborhood called "Qebena"). The association of the name of the hotel and Qebena should be sufficient to order a taxi (appr. 250 ETB/ride these days from Bole International Airport).

Queen Elizabeth Street is very convenient for its proximity with Arat Kilo Square, one collective taxi ride from Sidist Kilo Square, where the College of Social Sciences (including the Institute of Ethiopian Studies) of Addis Ababa University is located (follow this link for a map). The French Centre for Ethiopian Studies and its public library are located on the same street, two hundreds meters from Green Valley Hotel.

All these hotels have their own restaurants, serving food at reasonable prices (appr. 150 ETB/person max. for a good meal with soft drinks).
